I’m Mario Hostios, founder of Live Fit LA. I’m a different kind

As your personal trainer, I bring to Los Angeles over 20 years of fitness and nutrition experience. I’m certified by the American Council on Exercise, and as an Exercise Coach by the Chek Institute. I’m also a Touch For Health Practitioner and a teacher of Chi Gong (exercise based on Chinese medicine). I’m lucky to be a sought after speaker on fitness and nutrition issues.
At Live Fit LA, I’ve put together a personal training team with the skills to motivate, mold and move your body to its maximum potential. Our philosophy is to keep it simple – to work you both inside and outside in the ways that work for YOUR body. We combine the most effective fitness, nutrition and lifestyle strategies that follow a natural path to a healthier you.
We take it back to the playground – no treadmills, no machines. We use functional core exercises, free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, stability balls and jump ropes, plus yoga and tai chi techniques. We combine Western medicine with Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Tibetan wellness systems.
